When planting a forest, the number of jambhul trees planted was greater than the number of ashoka trees by 60. If there are altogether 200 trees of these two types, how many jambhul trees were planted?

$\begin{gathered}\\ \sf\longmapsto 2x+60\end{gathered}$

$\begin{gathered}\\ \sf\longmapsto 2x=200-60\end{gathered}$

$\begin{gathered}\\ \sf\longmapsto 2x=140\end{gathered}$

$\begin{gathered}\\ \sf\longmapsto x=\frac{140}{2}\end{gathered}$

$\begin{gathered}\\ \sf\longmapsto x=70\end{gathered}$

• Now to find number of jambhul trees we will subtract no. of ashoka trees from total number of trees
