Answer:

Ravina book has 65 pages more than Kajal book.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let us assume Ravina book has X pages and Kajal book has Y pages.

Ravina read 3/4th of book and 17 pages. There are 28 pages left.

i.e 3X/4 + 17 = X – 28

3X = 4(X – 28 – 17) = 4(X – 45) = 4X – 180.

X = 180.

Ravina book has 180 pages.

Kajal read 3/5th of book and 20 pages. There are 26 pages left.

i.e. 3Y/5 + 20 = Y – 26

3Y = 5(Y – 26 – 20) = 5(Y – 46) = 5Y – 230

2Y = 230

Y = 230/2 = 115.

Kajal book has 115 pages.

Ravina book has 180 – 115 = 65 pages more than Kajal book.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Ravina=3/4,17 pages,28 pages

Kajal=3/5,20 pages,26 pages

1-3/4=1/4

1/4=17+28

1/4=45

4/1×45=180 pages

1-3/5=2/5

2/5=20+26

2/5=46

5/2×46=115 pages

Difference=180-115=65.
