The graph of s-t is parallel to x- axis.

We know that,

(a). The slope of distance time graph shows the velocity.

Velocity :

The velocity is equal to the rate of change of displacement of the body.

In mathematically form,

v=\dfrac{dx}{dt}

(b). The slope of velocity time graph shows the acceleration.

Acceleration :

The acceleration is equal to the rate of change of velocity of the body.

In mathematically form,

a=\dfrac{dv}{dt}

We need to find the position of body when s-t graph is parallel to x- axis

According to given graph,

When displacement time graph is parallel to x- axis then the body is rest because the displacement time graph is zero.

Hence, When s-t graph is parallel to x- axis then the body is rest.
