When salt or sugar are poured in two different vessels. Why do they take the shape of the vessel

The salt and sugar dissolves due to their solubility..As we know that solid has a definite shape and liquid has indefinite shape due to intermolecular forces of attraction...
So the when salt and sugar dissolves in liquid, liquid takes the shape of the vessel
