When Shanaya switched on the gas stove in her kitchen the flame was blue but as soon as she kept a corn on it to roast, the flame turned yellow. Why do you think the colour of the flame changed? Even when the corn is kept directly on the flame it gets roasted but does not burn easily. Give a scientific reason

initially the outer most part is blue beacuse it has maximun oxygen supply so it has highest temperature .

when we put a corn on the flame the oxygen supply gets blocked and less oxygen is available so it's color changes to yellow .

corn gets roasted but doesn't burn because it blocks oxygen supply to some extent , hence reducing the temperature of the flame.
