When silver nitrate is added to seawater a white precipitate is formed. Explain?

Hi there,

☆ Seawater contains many ions as, Cl-,Na+ , K+ , SO4-2 , Ca+2 & Mg

By adding AgNO3 to the seawater its react with Cl ions to form silver chloride AgCl which is whit precipitate
