when soap is prepared by cold process, a small amount of sodium carbonate is added to:
a)make the soap hard
b)increase the pH
give explaination for choosing ur answer

make the soap hard is the right answer. Because sodium carbonate doesn't help to increase the ph of the soap. Soap is an alkali. It made by NaOH and some Oils.
