.......Because NaHCO3 is a base so...It can reacts with it then co2 and h20 and salt is formed

When Sodium bicarbonate reacts with Hydrochloric acid then it forms sodium chloride and carbon dioxide and water.

Reaction are as follows:

NaHCO3 + HCl ===>> NaCl + CO2 + H2O

Means:

Sodium carbonate + Hydrochloric acid===>>Sodium chloride + carbon dioxide + water.
