\fontsize{18}{10}{\textup{\textbf{The number of marbles is 3000}}}

Step-by-step explanation:

Volume of a cylinder=pi*r^2*h

Volume of the water risen=(22/7) *7*7*28

Let the number of marbles be x

So total volume of marbles

x*(4/3)*pi*r^3  (marbles are spherical)

which is equivalent to the marbles displaced

x*(4/3)*(22/7)(1.4/2)^3=(22/7)*7*7*28

=>x*4*(7/10)^3=3*7*7*28

=>x=3*10*10*10

=>x=3000
