when some zinc granules are placed in copper sulphate solution the solution change its colour

CuSO4(aq) + Zn(s) = ZnSO4(aq) + Cu(s)

The blue Cu2+ ions are swapped for the colourless Zn2+ ions.

here displacement reaction takes place
here from copper sulphate. sulphate displaced with
zinc .So zinc sulphate is formed .
so colour of solution gets changed.
