Answer:because once told the person feels curious to know what can happen next and they try doing that.
If you say for eg
Sam was told not to use glasses made of glass.he felt that if he did, what could happen?he tried using them.then accidentally he broke the glass and the set went incomplete.then he realised that he should not have done that.
