When someone is live answering to a question the thanks he/she gets, why these thanks do not attach in one's profile as I m having only 98 thanks...but when I was answering to one question the number of thanks were 258 ..why they did not attached?

Because they are temporary, You try to thank me. Result: They Won't add. You can infinity times thank me
