when someone opens a bottle of perfume ,you smell it from a distance.why is to so?

this is because the perfume is present in gaseous form and move randomly so it smells from a distance

Perfume is very volatile & as soon u open the perfume bottle it's gas particles moves randomly about, surrounding air in the room, become more dilute if spread out.Soon the entire room is filled with fragrance of that perfume.
