When something is thrown upward , why the value of acceleration due to gravity is taken as minus ? give proper reason.. don't just copy ..if you copy the answer should be clear ​

Because it is against the acceleration due to gravity. The acceleration due to gravity acts downward and you are throwing the ball upward that's why....
