when sugar is added to water ,it seems to disappear.However ,when sand is added to water ,it is still visible.why

sugar is soluble in water whereas sand is insoluble and remains seperated

because sugar molecules take place between space of water moucules and dissolve in water but sand partical don't do this and make it muddy
