When sugar is dissolved in water it dissappears.That means it must have changed into new substance.Therefore dissolving is chemical change.Do u agree?

sugar dissolves in water due to it can form hydrogen bonds with water...that is a type of secondary interaction..so if you dissolve sugar in water, at any point of time it contains sugar and water molecule....
but if you consider salt and water there is ionic interaction helps to dissolve salt in water.
so dissolving is maybe a chemical change or not.
