When sugar is dissolved in water there is no increase in volume is it true or false comment on the statement keeping in mind the ammount of sugar, ammount of water

IT'S true because , as we know , liquid has little spaces between the compounds . so , when sugar is dissolved in water , it occupies the space of the liquid molecule. therefore , the volume remains same.
