‘When sugar is dissolved in water there is no increase in volume". Is it true or false ? Comment on the statement keeping in mind the amount of sugar, amount of water etc.

this is true but if you add more sugar compared to the ratio of water then there might be chances of very slight differences. sugar is light and it gets easily dissolved so the level in water does not rise
