when sugar is dissolved in water there is no increase in volume.Is it true or false? Comment on the statement keeping in mind the amount of sugar, amount of water etc

In water, there are empty gaps between two molecules called as inter molecular space. When sugar is added to water it dissolves and occupies these empty space, thus the volume does not increase as sugar molecules are occupying vacant space and not adding to the existing space.

yes there is no increase in water beacuse the sugar melts and dissolves in the particles as we know that in liquid there is a space between molecules the sugar dissolves and stay in the molecules place so thus there is no increase or decrease in the water
