The demolition of Tallah Bridge, which was scheduled to start on January 5, is not likely to commence before April.
KOLKATA: The demolition of Tallah Bridge, which was scheduled to start on January 5, is not likely to commence before April. The state government will pull down the structure and the railways will play a supervisory role.
Earlier, it was decided that railways would raze the road overbridge (ROB) portion — like it did for Majerhat bridge — and the state public works department (PWD) will take care of the approaches
