When the angle of incidence is  equal to the critical angle, the light beam bends along the interface

  • In total internal reflection, when light travels from a denser medium to a rarer medium and the angle of incident is less than the critical angle then it gets reflected back in the same medium but when it is equal to the critical angle it gets reflected at 90° i.e. it bends along the interface.
