When the baby is an embryo where does it get its nutrients?

The baby is attached to the mom by its umbilical cord and the placenta growing in mom's uterus. The mother's digested nutrientspass through the umbilicus into the baby'sbloodstream just like they pass through the mother's bloodstream. There's no "eating" per se.

During embryo state they get nutrition from the mother through placenta...

Placenta is formed after the implantation of the embryo into the mother 's endometrium...

Placenta provides the pathway for the nutrition of the embryo from mother, it also helps in gaseous exchange of the embryo and alo removes the metabolic waste of the embryo...

So this is how it survives and then after 9 months become fully develop baby....
