When the diameter doubles what will be the resistance?

This is for area of circle taken as example. so substituting the above formula in resistance we can conclude that Resistance is inversely proportional to square of the diameter while length and resistivity should be constant. When diameter is doubled the final resistance will be one fourth of original resistance
