When the displacement is one half of the amplitude, what fraction of the total energy is kinetic and what fraction is potential in SHM.? At what displacement is the energy half kinetic and half potential ?

Kinetic =1/2 k(A^2-x^2)

Pot =1/2kx^2

So when X=A/2

kinetic =1/2 k(3A^2/4)=3kA^2/8

potential =1/2kA^2/4=kA^2/8

Total Energy=kA^2/2

So Fraction Of Kinetic =3/4

Fraction of Pot =1/4

for half kinetic and half pot

X=A/✓2
