When the frequency of the ac source in an lcr circuit equals the resonant frequency the reactance of the circuit is zero does it mean that there is no current through the inductor of the capacitor?

At resonant frequency the reactance part will be zero and the circuit will behave as it doesn't have any inductor or capacitors, only resistance will be the impedance I. E
