The proverb here means that when the situation becomes difficult and the challenges are enormous, the people with a strong character become more tough and face whatever comes in their way. With reference to the corona pandemic which the world is facing today, the conditions have become harsh than ever. But what's to be noted is that people are not giving up. They are fighting the virus.
Do you think that our development has stopped due to the lockdown? No, it certainly has not. From students to office workers, everyone is playing his part. Rather than thinking about failure in the academic session, students are more concerned about their online classes. In the same way, instead of worrying about losing their jobs, people are willing to work from their homes.
Have we ever wondered that there could have been a case when the teacher would be promoting students without examinations or that people might have simply given up their jobs? Yes, it could have been possible. But what prevents it is our determination.
Earlier, we used to see just a few people wearing masks on roads. But now the scenario is that we cannot step out of our houses without covering our mouth. What could it be considered as? Our prevention from bringing the world to its disintegration.
Our government is also ending the lockdown period gradually though there is a significant increase in the number of patients. We cannot sit at our houses for lifetime. We must come forward and make sure that we continue our work.
Our nation has never stopped, nor it will. Development must continue. It will take some time for things to be back to normal. Until then we must make sure that each of our step is in the right direction. The question is not about an individual here. It is about our nation. It is about our world. It is about humankind. We have to do whatever it takes to stop the widespread of this virus and gain our freedom back. The only thing we have to keep in our mind is - Development must not stop.
