because...

if mass is doubled and velocity is halved

m' = 2m

v'= v/2

KE' = 1/2 m'v'²

KE' = 1/2 * 2m * (v/2)²

 =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 2m \times  \frac{ {v}^{2} }{4}

 =  \frac{1}{2}  \times m \times  \frac{ {v}^{2} }{2}

 =  \frac{1}{2}  \times  \frac{m {v}^{2} }{2}

 =  \frac{1}{2} ke \:  \: (as \:  \frac{m {v}^{2} }{2}  = k.e)

so... the answer will be

KE' = 1/2 KE
