Let the numerator be x and denominator be y.

Therefore,

The required fraction be x/y.

From given condition,

x+4/y=2/3

3(x+4) =2y

3x+12=2y

2y-3x=12........(Equation)

Now this is the only equation which we can obtain from the given condition,

So here we can take any satisfied values,

Means L. H. S=R.H.S

Therefore, (I have taken)

x=0 and y=6

Therefore, denominator of a fraction is 6.
