Let the fraction be x/y

Numerator is increased by 4

Then fraction becomes x/y + 2/3

(x+4)/y = x/y + 2/3

4/y = 2/3

y = 6

So, the denominator is 6

Heya dear,

good morning :))
____________

Let the fraction be x/y

According to the question,

 \frac{x + 4}{y}  =  \frac{x}{y} +   \frac{2}{3}  \\  \\  =  >  \frac{x}{y}  +  \frac{4}{y}  =  \frac{x}{y}  +  \frac{2}{3} \\   \\   =  > \frac{4}{y}  =  \frac{2}{3}   \\ \\  =  > 2y = 12 \\  \\  =  > y = 6

Thus, the denominator = 6
