When the object is placed beyond 2F 1. in CONCAVE LENS Why THE REFRACTED RAY GOES UP RATHER THAN DOWN

Dear mate ,. Concave lens is a diverging lens , therefore, it diverges ray of light coming from an object. So, refracted ray of light after passing through it goes up although the object is placed beyond 2F.
