Answer:

The increase on total revenue will be Rs. 17.

Solution:

Let the Cost price of the product CP be = Rs 100.

When CP was decreased by 10%,

Decrease in Rs.

Thus, Decreased CP = Rs 100 – Rs 10 = Rs 90

Accordingly,

Increase in Sales = 30%.

Thus, Increase in Sales in Rs

Hence, Selling Price SP

= CP + Increase in sales

= Rs 90 + Rs 27

= Rs 117

Thus, the increase on total revenue

= Profit = SP – Initial CP

= Rs 117 – Rs 100

= Rs 17

Therefore, the increase on total revenue will be Rs. 17.
