Let x=0.3636....
⇒100x=36.363636....
⇒99x=100x-x
=36.363636....-0.363636
=36
⇒x=36/99=4/11.
So 0.363636....written in the form p/q is 4/11.

Answer:

15

Step-by-step explanation:

let x=0.363636....take it as equation 1

100x=36.363636.....take it as equation 2

hence subtract equation 1 from equation 2

100x=36.363636...

- x=00.363636....

the answer is 99x=36.00000

99x=36

x=36/99

x=4/11,Now it is in p/q form

sum of p and q =4+11=15
