when the silver electrode having reduction potential 0.80 volt is attached to NHE will it act as anode or cathode​

Explanation:

As reduction potential of silver electrode is +ve while that of NHE is '0', EMF of the cell will be +ve only if reduction takes place at the silver electrode i.e., it will act as cathode.
