weak base × strong acid-> the B+cation has a slight acidic tendence to bind with hydroxide ions so the resulting solution has pH lower than 7. If we mix an acid and a base we will get a salt (neutral) and water. The H+ ion from the acid and OH- ion from the base is released and it forms H2O molecule.
