Let x = son's current age

Let y = father's current age

Equation 1 (we have to go forward (y-x) years, so we add the (y-x) terms):

[Father's new age] + [Son's new age] = 126

[y+(y-x)] + [(x + (y-x))] = 126

2y - x + y = 126

3y - x = 126

Hope this helps U!

rajnambiar: can u plz send me the further equations also

Let x = son's current age

Let y = father's current age

[y+(y-x)] + [(x + (y-x))] = 126

2y - x + y = 126

3y - x = 126
