1. Corresponding Angles :-

  • Corresponding angles are the angles which are formed in matching corners or corresponding corners with the transversal when two parallel lines are intersected by any other line (i.e. the transversal).

2. Alternate Interior Angles :-

  • Alternate interior angles are angles formed when two parallel or non-parallel lines are intersected by a transversal. The angles are positioned at the inner corners of the intersections and lie on opposite sides of the transversal.

3. Complementary Angles :-

  • When the sum of two angles is equal to 90 degrees, they are called complementary angles. 

4. Supplementary Angles :-

  • When the sum of two angles is equal to 180 degrees, they are called supplementary angles.
