Kirchoff's first law -

\sum i=0

i_{1}+i_{3}=i_{2}+i_{4}

- wherein

 

By KCL

i1 + i2 = i

Let voltage at C be V

\frac{20-V}{2} + \frac{10-V}{4} = \frac{V}{2}

12.5 = 1.25 V

V = 10 volt

i = \frac{V}{2} = \frac{10}{2} = 5 A
