when it's 20 mins past seven, there is a gap of mere 15 btwn it

let the whole clock be 360 degree
numbers in a clock are till 12

each number represent a gap of 5

so total gap = 12 × 5
= 60

so 1 gap represent an angle of - 360/60
= 6 degree

so angle formed between two hands = 6 × 15
= 90 degree
