HOPE IT HELPS :

Torque on an electric dipole placed in a uniform Electric  Field :

Since we know that Torque is given by :

T = PEsin\alpha

i ) Zero :

When \alpha = 0 Dipole may be parallel or anti-parallel to electric fields .

ii) Maximum :

When \alpha = 90, Dipole perpendicular to electric Field lines .

iii) Half of the maximum :

When \alpha = 30^{o}
