When the two world war starts and why?

The first world war broke out on 28th July, 1914 and lasted until 11th November, 1918. One of the reasons of the first world war is the assassination of Arch Duke Francis Ferdinand by a Serbian irredentist.

The second world war broke out on 1st September, 1939 till 2nd September, 1945 (6 years and 1 day). Reasons : 1. Rise of Italian fascism and 2. Japanese attack on Pearl Harbour on 7th December, 1941.
