Bill told the lawyer that lutkins was a hard person to find as he was busy in some activities. He owned money to find people including bill and had never paid back to anyone so he said that he play a lot of poker games and was good in deciving people

At the end of the story too Lukins manages to fool the author. Until one of his colleagues comes with him to search for Lukins the author is unable to find him.
