When there are too many consumers eating the producer in an area then thie is overgrazing that occurs. What will happen to the animals and plants? I'm asking this because there's nothing like this on my Modules. Thank you!

As a result of overgrazing, the plants will decline in the area and the animals will have a tough competition for food.

Explanation:

  • In an area where there is an adequate supply of food, there will be lesser competition among the animals for food.
  • But as overgrazing occurs, the supply of food decreases. As a result, the animals will compete for food.
  • Hence, the population of the producers as well as the consumers will decline.
