When there was no currency ,people use to exchange?

Nowadays we see we observe or even we also a part of that.Now every Nations has their own types of currency,some where are dollars some where yen,in India we use Rupees to buy something which we need it.We gave money to the shopkeeper and we take something from them which we want.

The method of currency is not yet developed in the ancients time but after many years the method of use currency were formed by the great emperors.At that time difference different dynasty and emperor used to build their own currency in form of coins in which the sign or the photo of the emperors stamped.That gave the rise in the formation of the currency.

But what happened when there was no currency,how the people of that time used to sell or buy something. Because at that time the awareness about the use of currency is not developed in the minds of the earlier man.

So,they used the method of ''give and take '' it means they share their things which other people need it and take from them which they need of that. The people used to gave rice to the people who don't have much amount of rice or we can say that they need,and take from them like pots,clothes of that time,or other things which they want from them.

So,this method of give and take became used by all and this is also played an important part in the formation to use the currency in the form of notes and coins.
