when u have to find the largest no then you have to find the hcf like if you have been asked to find the largest no . that divides both x and y then u will find the Hcf of both the no.
and if u have been asked to find the minimum no then u can find the lcm.
and if u have been asked to find the minimum no then u can find the lcm.
