Most of us will have already turned a though to our Christmas shopping (for those who have already finished it, shush, no one wants to hear from you).

But for most of us it is too soon to venture into the loft and search for the Christmas decorations or hit the garden centre looking for the least lop-sided tree.

However, everyone seems to have differing opinions on when the best time to decorate your Christmas tree actually is.

So when is the best time to deck those halls with boughs of holly?d away.
