We use the word 'any' where something is not definite.

For Example - Go and brought anything from the market. We can brought anything , there is not any definite thing to be brought.


We use the word 'some' where something is few or not indifinite.

For Example - Go and Brought some apples from the market.

 some is used  in positive sentences.The words some and any are determiners. They are used to modify nouns. Some and any can be used with both countable and uncountable nouns. They show an indefinite quantity or number.ive sentences.Some and any can be used with both singular and plural nouns.Use ‘any’ in negative and interrogative sentences. example like She hasn’t got any friends
