Les pronom toniques.

Conjugations :

Moi : Me

Toi : You

Lui : Him

Elle  : Her

Nous : Us

Vous : You

Eux : Them (maculine)

Elles : Them (feminine)

Les pronoms toniques also called ‘disjunctive’ or ‘stressed’ pronouns.

The "stressed" pronouns in French are basically used:

- as the object of a preposition (c'est pour moi)

- when conjoined with another subject/object:
Manushi et lui viennent = Him and Manushi are coming;
Je vois Rahul et lui = I'm seeing Rahul and him.

- when the pronoun isn't exactly a simple subject or object-- basically when you "don't know what else to do with it", it's probably a stressed pronoun (Je vois Manushi , pas lui = I'm seeing Manushi , not him; Moi, je viens demain = I'm coming tomorrow -- the extra "moi" added for emphasis/contrast)

Les pronoms toniques avec les pronoms personnels-

Ex- Je fais mon devoir avec mes amis.

-> Je le fais avec eux.

Here, I've replaced 'mon devoir' with 'le' because 'mon devoir' is a direct object this replaced by COD (complément d'objet direct), and 'mes amis' with 'eux' that is pronom toniques since there is a proposition immediately before 'mes amis'.

Few more examples-

1) Il a acheté cette fleur pour sa femme.

-> Il l'a achetée pour elle.

I've put the accord with acheté because when COD is used in the passé composé tense, the main verb agrees with the object which is feminine here(cette fleur).

2) Vous dites les enfants de Marc.

-> Vous les dites de lui.

Marc is masculine thus replaced by lui (pronom tonique) and les enfants is plural thus replaced by les (COD).

3) Je vais acheter cette robe pour toi.

-> Je vais l'acheter pour toi.

Toi is already pronom tonique that means 'you'. Note that I have used l' (COD) between the two verbs. It is a rule that if there are two verbs out of which, first one is conjugated and the other is in infinitive form, then COD is placed in between the two verbs.

I hope my explanation is clear. If any doubt, let me know in the comment section.
