Answer:

We know Speed = distance / time

Distance = speed × time

Speed = 50 kilometers per hour

Distance = ???…to find out

Time = 12 minutes = 12/60 hour= 1/5 hour = 0.2 hour

Therefore Distance = 50 kilometers per hour × 0.2 hours

Distance = 50 × 0.2 kilometer

Distance = 10 kilometers

Step-by-step explanation:

Speed of car =50 km/hr

Travel Time = 12 min

Solution:

Travel time in hr =12/60 hr

We know Speed = Distance/Time

So,Distance= Speed * Time

Total distance covered by car in 12/60 is = 50*0.2

Hence, total distance covered by car in 12 min is 10 km.
