When two bulbs of power of 60w and 40w are connected in series then the power of their combination will be solution?

Answer:

R of bulb of power 40W, P=V^2÷R,R=40÷V^2. Similarly R of 60W bulb is 60÷V^2. When connected in series then total resistance is 100÷V^2. Power by P=V^2÷R is 100W.
