Yes the transfer of energy will take place.

divesh24dsj: from where to where?
001100: The object that will be behind the another object will transfer the energy in the object that will be in front of it
001100: Plz MARK IT AS THE BRAINLIEST
divesh24dsj: then acc. to newton's 3rd law the object in front will also apply force and transfer energy,is it tru?
divesh24dsj: it will transfer energy to object behind.is that tru?
divesh24dsj: plz tell
divesh24dsj: plz explain
001100: Yes it will.....but less energy will be transferred as compared to energy transferred by the object behind
001100: Plz MARK IT AS THE BRAINLIEST

it depends on type of collision.

if it is elastic collision then there will be loss of energy.

if it is inelastic collision there will be no loss of energy.
